The JHU Robo-Challenge is a day long competition, April 17, 2010, in which high school and middle school teams compete in five robotics challenges. The day also features speakers on robotics, tours of the Hopkins campus and the robotics buildings, and lots of prizes. Team registration is closed, but the public is invited to join in the fun.

NASA’s EarthKAM helps students learn about the Earth from the unique perspective of space. Through this interactive program, middle school students take part in photographing the Earth from a digital camera onboard the International Space Station. Visitors will learn about the accomplishments of Amelia Earhart , the Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASPs), astronaut Sally Ride, and women who are currently contributing to aviation, science, technology, and space exploration.
