Program: National Robotics Week. April 10-18, 2010

robots44National Robotics Week, April 10-18, 2010, recognizes robotics technology as a pillar of 21st century American innovation, highlights its growing importance in a wide variety of application areas, and emphasizes its ability to inspire technology education. A week-long series of events and activities is planned to increase public awareness of the growing importance of “robo-technology.”

Teachers should check the Website for events around the country, such as the Robot Block Party at the Museum of Science in Boston,  and the display of hot Silicon Valley Robots at Stanford University. The site also supports  resources such as downloaded scavenger hunts, booklets, webquests, and online materials.
