Resource: Student Competition Research

student competition research2The goal of the Student Competition Research Project is to promote the research and practice of student competitions. This is achieved through collection, dissemination, and interpretation of research and information about competitions.

Many competitions are multidisciplinary, and information on the site is  not limited to a specific domain.  At the same time, the resources favor competitions that are geared to promote STEM skills, as well as multidisciplinary competitions that stress design.

The section Competition Research includes a repository of studies which analyze various topics and issues related to competitions.

The section How To’s contains advice and best practices to help teachers and students create effective teams and develop successful projects.
