Center of Science and Industry (COSI) presents Girls Discover … Engineering!
Your middle-school daughter–or student– loves math and science, but now what? Through COSI’s Girls Discover…Engineering! program girls meet mentors from the Ohio State University’s Women in Engineering program; solve our Design Challenge (it’s not easy!); and take part in hands-on workshops led by women engineers from Boeing, the City of Columbus, URS Corporation, Woolpert, AEP, and more. It’s day of teamwork that can lead to a lifetime of inspiration.
Registration : Download the online registration form (available August 2010) and fax to 614.629.3226 (advance registration is required). Scholarships are available, too!
Cost: $40 per person (includes two workshops, lunch, souvenir t-shirt, and COSI admission).
