Description: Sustainability may seem like a novel global business buzzword, but when it comes to contemporary corporate vision it’s the key to a successful future and ultimately, a lucrative bottom line. Join KYW Newsradio and Drexel College of Engineering at this special breakfast seminar, Sustainability: Beyond a Buzzword to a Better Bottom Line. An expert panel, featuring representatives from academia,government and business will explain the concept of sustainability and will tell you how to build a sustainable business from the ground up. You’ll also learn about important sustainability initiatives being engineered now, right here in our backyard. Finally, you’ll see that implementing these practices can mean exponential savings for your company.

High School Day

Location: Bossone Research Enterprise Center. Date and Time: Thu., Feb. 18, 8:30am – 2pm

Description: To spread the excitement of engineering, CoE reaches out to local high schools to invite them for a day of hands-on engineering activities. Over 200 high school students generally attend this interactive day.
