SWE Profiles of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers’ oral history project documents the lives and work of U.S. women engineers who began their careers in the 1940s, 50s, and 50s. Interviews include several “women firsts,” with personal perspectives on the development and culture of different fields and their impact on the history of women and engineering. Materials include biographical sketches, full transcripts, and video clips.
