Education Technology Strategy in Works
The U.S. Department of Education is developing a new plan intended to provide a vision for how information and communication technologies can help transform American education. It aims to provide goals for state and local plans and encourage innovation. The first such plan since 2004, it will focus on learning, assessment, teaching, and productivity. In a press release, the Harvard Graduate School of Education said a professor and lecturer from the school have been tapped to help draft it.
