The SeaPerch program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology aims to increase college enrollments in engineering and technical programs by introducing middle and high school students to science through hands-on activities. Students build an underwater robot from a kit, following a curriculum that teaches basic engineering and science concepts with a marine engineering theme.
