Website: National Lab Day
NationalLabDay.org
The National Lab Day (NLD) website not only represents a nationwide initiative to foster ongoing collaborations among volunteers, students, and educators, but also provides an extensive, search-able list of educational resources, an archive of community and academic projects, and a directory of events.
Through NLD, volunteers, university students, scientists, engineers, other STEM professionals and, more broadly, members of the community work together with educators and students to bring discovery-based science experiences to students in grades K-12. Educators post projects on the website, and the system helps them get the resources needed to bring that project to fruition.
Website visitors can also watch videos; read news; see the top partner schools, educators, cities, organizations, and more; and learn how to get involved.
