NIST Summer Teachers Institute

NIST summer institute for middle school teachersHands-on projects and visits with federal scientists and engineers are among the highlights of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s summer institute for middle school teachers, which takes place July 10 to 21, 2017 at NIST’s headquarters in Gaithersburg, Md. Participants will receive a $2,000 stipend and up to $2,000 to cover travel and lodging expenses. Apply by March 3, 2017.
