Penn State Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences Summer Camp
Biomedical sciences are multidisciplinary fields providing an understanding of the scientific basis of animal and human health and diseases, infection and immunity, mechanisms of drug actions, and environmental toxicants.
In this program, students spend time in state-of-the-art laboratories guided by veterinary and biomedical sciences faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students. They will have an opportunity to interact with veterinarians, immunologists, and toxicologists, and will learn more about the veterinary and biomedical professions through laboratory exercises, lectures, and a tour of a local veterinary practice.
Who is eligible? Students who will be in the 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2010.

Price includes room and board for the residential campers and daily lunch for the day-campers, laboratory fees, T-shirt, transportation on/off campus, and program materials and is payable to “Penn State” along with your registration information.
