Contest: Student Video – Feb. 1, 2010
Deadline: February 1, 2010
National Engineers Week Student Video Contest
Celebrating Engineer Volunteerism
During National Engineers Week 2010, engineers around the country unite in celebration of engineer volunteerism and recognize the ways engineers are making a difference in their communities, beyond their professional and academic achievements.
The National Engineers Week Foundation and ASCE invite students to participate by entering a video contest to show others why their school is THE BEST at making a difference through engineer-related volunteer projects. Each school may submit one entry. Information about the contest, rules, and prizes are included in the Student Video Project Flier.
Participating student groups will receive a $100 gift card and other EWeek supplies to help plan a student event to watch a live coast-to-coast Web event announcing the contest winner. The top three video entries will be featured during the Web announcement, with the winning school or university being named the Grand Prize Winner. Grand prize winners will have their school and video featured on the Design Squad Website and will receive a pizza party worth $500.
Contest deadline is February 1, 2010. Questions? Contact: outreach@asce.org
