eGFI Makes List of Top STEM Sites
Want to get kids excited about STEM?
President Obama does. He has hosted science fair winners and kicked off Computer Science Education Week 2014 with an Hour of Code at the White House.
To encourage K-12 STEM learning, it also helps to make it fun, says Information Week – which included eGFI among its top eight websites for engaging students in fields from “programming to engineering to cybersecurity to outer space.”
Also in the American Society for Engineering Education’s Engineering, Go For It family of free STEM education resources:
- The eGFI Teachers’ blog (standards-based lessons, features, opportunities for teachers and students)
- The eGFI Students’ blog (fun features about cool technologies, scholarship information, and more)
- The Accelerator (news, internship, and scholarship information for undergraduate and graduate engineering students.)
