2011 BadgerBOTS Robotics Summer Daycamp
The 2011 BadgerBOTS Robotics Summer Daycamp will be held at Madison’s Memorial High School for students in grades 4 through 8th. Campers, who do not need any previous experience, are encouraged to enroll with friends to increase their enjoyment of the camp experience and to promote continuing interest in robotics as well as possible participation in either the LEGO League or High School level programs.
Our goal is to provide an enjoyable environment where campers experience the pride of solving complex problems through science and engineering while learning about a thematic challenge and robotics.
The camp is designed to teach campers everything they need to know about basic principles of design, programming, and the engineering process through the creation of LEGO robots to overcome mission challenges. The mission based activities allow students of all ability levels and experience to learn new skills and build a genuine pride in their accomplishments. The camp includes fieldtrips to the planetarium for robots in space and possibly other localsites.
All sessions are Mondays to Fridays only… no weekend sessions!
