ScienceEducation.gov supports cyber-learning and open participation with lesson plans, curricula, classroom activities, homework help, and professional development information. There are more than 35,000 web pages of STEM content available. The content content is organized in at least two ways: by the agency providing the content and by the approximate grade range.

The website and its content are the product of a collaboration between NASA, the National Institutes of Health, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Energy, and outside organizations.
