Robotics & Beyond Summer Camp

New Milford High School, New Milford, CT

Robotics & Beyond is a science and engineering summer camp for middle  through high school age students, where they will have all the equipment, tools, software, and expertise they need to design, build, test, and operate the creations of their imaginations. Students will encounter challenging projects that focus creativity on solving a real-world problems, and have visits from engineers at area companies who will give a professional’s perspective, and advice on education and career paths.

Robotics & Beyond is not a class. Students need not concern themselves with  keeping up with anyone, and not everyone is doing the same thing.  Instead, everyone will have interesting projects to work on, and will get help out when they get stuck or their attention when it begins to wander. For the most part, each student will make progress on his or her own.

cmp2008_03We encourage each student’s exploration of any and all branches of science and engineering – if there is a strong interest in programming, then it’s okay to focus on that. If it’s data analysis, or mechanical engineering, or the human computer interface that interests the student, then we ‘ll work to further their interest, experience, and knowledge of their chosen field.

Why: It’s the best science and engineering experience you can get.
