Throughout history, engineering has helped to make the world a batter place, advancing the way people connect with each other, heal, get around, and have fun. But society still faces major obstacles.

The National Academy of Engineering’s Engineering 4 U Video Contest examines 14 game-changing opportunities for improving life in the 21st century called the Grand Challenges for Engineering. They include making solar energy economical and improving the infrastructure of cities.NAE E4U
